And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said,“ Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

耶穌逐瘖鬼、鬼出、瘖者言、眾奇之、

有攜聾而結舌者、求耶穌按之、耶穌引之離眾至僻處、以指探其耳、唾而捫其舌、仰天嘆曰、㕽𠵽𠯈、譯即聰也、耳即聰、舌結解而言明矣、耶穌戒勿告人、然愈戒而彼益播揚、眾不勝異曰、其所為者善、使聾者聰、啞者言矣。

跛者踊躍如鹿、瘖者謳歌不已、曠野之地、水泉洊至、

耶和華曰、予人以口者誰乎、使人或聾或瘖、或明或瞽者誰乎、非我耶和華乎。往哉、我必助爾說辭、示爾以所當言。

眾就之、有攜跛者、瞽者、瘖者、殘缺者、及諸病者、置耶穌足下、耶穌醫之、眾見瘖者言、殘缺者痊、跛者行、瞽者明、則奇之、歸榮以色列上帝、○

昔在埃及、屢行異跡、使以色列族及異邦人、無不目睹、播揚爾名、至於今日。

其人即起、於眾前、取床而出、眾奇之、歸榮上帝云、我儕從未見是也、○

上帝之僕以利沙聞以色列王已裂其衣、則遣人至、告王曰、何為裂衣、可使彼就我、則知在以色列族中、有先知也。

猶大國民咸知上帝、以色列族中、其名赫奕兮、

耶穌聞而奇之、顧從者曰、吾語汝、以色列民中、未見如是之篤信也、
