And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said,“ Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

有攜聾而口吃者、求其手按之、耶穌引之離眾、至僻處、以指探其耳、唾而捫其舌、仰天歎曰、以法大、譯即啟也、其耳即啟、舌結解、而言明矣、耶穌戒眾、毋以告人、然愈戒而愈播揚、眾不勝奇異曰、其所為皆善、使聾者聞、啞者言矣、

跛者如鹿踴躍、瘖者鼓舌謳歌、有水湧於曠野、有河流於沙漠、

耶和華曰、造人之口者誰乎、使人或瘖或聾、或明或瞽者誰乎、非我耶和華乎、今其往哉、我必助爾之口、以所當言示爾、

羣眾就之、攜跛者、瞽者、瘖者、殘者、及諸病者、置其足前、遂醫之、眾見瘖者言、殘者痊、跛者行、瞽者明、則奇之、歸榮以色列之上帝、○

在埃及地、於以色列人及異族中、自昔迄今、屢行異蹟奇事、致顯己名、有如今日、

其人即起、於眾前取牀而出、眾奇之、歸榮上帝、曰、我儕從未見若是者也、○

上帝僕以利沙聞以色列王裂衣、則遣人詣之、曰、何為裂衣、令其人就我、則知以色列中有先知也、

上帝見知於猶大、其名為大於以色列兮、

耶穌聞而奇之、回顧從者曰、我語汝、如是之篤信、即以色列中、亦未之見也、
