这时候，有几个人把一个躺在床榻上瘫痪的人抬到他面前。耶稣看见他们的信心，就对瘫痪的人说：“孩子，鼓起勇气吧！你的罪孽被赦免了。”

這時候，有幾個人把一個躺在床榻上癱瘓的人抬到他面前。耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱瘓的人說：「孩子，鼓起勇氣吧！你的罪孽被赦免了。」

時一痿者臥榻中、人舁之以至、耶穌鑒其信、謂痿者曰：『小子、安心、爾罪赦矣。』

Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man,“ Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man,“ Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”

Just then some men brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”

And they brought to Him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed,“ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,“ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.

Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”

When Jesus returned to Capernaum several days later, the news spread quickly that he was back home.Soon the house where he was staying was so packed with visitors that there was no more room, even outside the door. While he was preaching God’s word to them,four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat.They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus.Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ My child, your sins are forgiven.”But some of the teachers of religious law who were sitting there thought to themselves,“ What is he saying? This is blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins!”Jesus knew immediately what they were thinking, so he asked them,“ Why do you question this in your hearts?Is it easier to say to the paralyzed man‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or‘ Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk’?So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”And the man jumped up, grabbed his mat, and walked out through the stunned onlookers. They were all amazed and praised God, exclaiming,“ We’ve never seen anything like this before!”

Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said,“ Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take him inside to Jesus,but they couldn’t reach him because of the crowd. So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd, right in front of Jesus.Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man,“ Young man, your sins are forgiven.”But the Pharisees and teachers of religious law said to themselves,“ Who does he think he is? That’s blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins!”Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them,“ Why do you question this in your hearts?Is it easier to say‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or‘ Stand up and walk’?So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped up, picked up his mat, and went home praising God.Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe, and they praised God, exclaiming,“ We have seen amazing things today!”

“ But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord.“ I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord.“ And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.

always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said,“ I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!

and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.

Now someone may argue,“ Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say,“ How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”

He called out,“ Fellows, have you caught any fish?”“ No,” they replied.

News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed— he healed them all.

David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who are declared righteous without working for it:“ Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight.Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.”

“ I tell you, her sins— and they are many— have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.”Then Jesus said to the woman,“ Your sins are forgiven.”The men at the table said among themselves,“ Who is this man, that he goes around forgiving sins?”And Jesus said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

As a result of the apostles’ work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow might fall across some of them as he went by.Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed.

No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

“ Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.“ Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Tell her that her sad days are gone and her sins are pardoned. Yes, the Lord has punished her twice over for all her sins.”

I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

That evening after sunset, many sick and demon possessed people were brought to Jesus.

So go ahead. Eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, for God approves of this!

And he said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

That evening many demon possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick.

So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

“ Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins.Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight— something the law of Moses could never do.
