And they brought to Him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed,“ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man,“ Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man,“ Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Just then some men brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,“ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.

When Jesus came back to Capernaum a few days later, it was heard that He was at home.And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer space, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.And some people* came, bringing to Him a man who was paralyzed, carried by four men.And when they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and after digging an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralyzed man was lying.And Jesus, seeing their faith,* said to the paralyzed man,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking it over in their hearts,“ Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins except God alone?”Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were thinking that way within themselves,* said to them,“ Why are you thinking about these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man,‘ Your sins are forgiven’; or to say,‘ Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— He* said to the paralyzed man,“ I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet, and go home.”And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”

But Jesus, turning and seeing her, said,“ Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” And at once the woman was made well.

And some men were carrying a man on a stretcher who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.But when they did not find any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.And seeing their faith, He said,“ Friend, your sins are forgiven you.”The scribes and the Pharisees began thinking of the implications, saying,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?”But Jesus, aware of their thoughts, responded and said to them,“ Why are you thinking this way in your hearts?Which is easier, to say:‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the man who was paralyzed,“ I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher, and go home.”And immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.And they were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God. They were also filled with fear, saying,“ We have seen remarkable things today!”

“ For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord:“ I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord,“ for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”

How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!How blessed is a person whose guilt the Lord does not take into account, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!

so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out.

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Now when Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those who were following,“ Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

This man was listening to Paul as he spoke. Paul looked at him intently and saw that he had faith to be made well,

But someone may well say,“ You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”

So Jesus* said to them,“ Children, you do not have any fish to eat, do you?” They answered Him,“ No.”

And the news about Him spread throughout Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and severe pain, demon possessed, people with epilepsy, and people who were paralyzed; and He healed them.

just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered.Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”

For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”And He said to her,“ Your sins have been forgiven.”And then those who were reclining at the table with Him began saying to themselves,“ Who is this man who even forgives sins?”And He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on any of them.The people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together as well, bringing people who were sick or tormented with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.

and because He did not need anyone to testify about mankind, for He Himself knew what was in mankind.

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

“ Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God.“ Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her guilt has been removed, That she has received of the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.”

I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— then He* said to the paralyzed man,“ Get up, pick up your stretcher and go home.”

Now when evening came, after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were demon possessed.

Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.

And He said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be cured of your disease.”

Now when evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.

And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
