Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man,“ Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man,“ Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Just then some men brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”

And they brought to Him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed,“ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,“ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.

And he was preaching the word to them.And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts,“ Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them,“ Why do you question these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the paralytic,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Rise, take up your bed and walk’?But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he said to the paralytic—“ I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.”And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying,“ We never saw anything like this!”

Jesus turned, and seeing her he said,“ Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.

And behold, some men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus,but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus.And when he saw their faith, he said,“ Man, your sins are forgiven you.”And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying,“ Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them,“ Why do you question in your hearts?Which is easier, to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Rise and walk’?But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he said to the man who was paralyzed—“ I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.”And immediately he rose up before them and picked up what he had been lying on and went home, glorifying God.And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying,“ We have seen extraordinary things today.”

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were carried away to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him,“ Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.

He listened to Paul speaking. And Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well,

But someone will say,“ You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Jesus said to them,“ Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him,“ No.”

So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having seizures, and paralytics, and he healed them.

just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works:“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.”

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven— for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.”And he said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this, who even forgives sins?”And he said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them.The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he then said to the paralytic—“ Rise, pick up your bed and go home.”

That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons.

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

And he said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.

More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
