这时候，有几个人把一个躺在床榻上瘫痪的人抬到他面前。耶稣看见他们的信心，就对瘫痪的人说：“孩子，鼓起勇气吧！你的罪孽被赦免了。”

這時候，有幾個人把一個躺在床榻上癱瘓的人抬到他面前。耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱瘓的人說：「孩子，鼓起勇氣吧！你的罪孽被赦免了。」

時一痿者臥榻中、人舁之以至、耶穌鑒其信、謂痿者曰：『小子、安心、爾罪赦矣。』

Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man,“ Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,“ Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

And they brought to Him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed,“ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,“ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.

When he entered Capernaum again after some days, it was reported that he was at home.So many people gathered together that there was no more room, not even in the doorway, and he was speaking the word to them.They came to him bringing a paralytic, carried by four of them.Since they were not able to bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and after digging through it, they lowered the mat on which the paralytic was lying.Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”But some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts:“ Why does he speak like this? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”Right away Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them,“ Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?Which is easier: to say to the paralytic,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up, take your mat, and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he told the paralytic—“ I tell you: get up, take your mat, and go home.”Immediately he got up, took the mat, and went out in front of everyone. As a result, they were all astounded and gave glory to God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”

Jesus turned and saw her.“ Have courage, daughter,” he said.“ Your faith has saved you.” And the woman was made well from that moment.

Just then some men came, carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed. They tried to bring him in and set him down before him.Since they could not find a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the roof tiles into the middle of the crowd before Jesus.Seeing their faith he said,“ Friend, your sins are forgiven.”Then the scribes and the Pharisees began to think to themselves,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus replied to them,“ Why are you thinking this in your hearts?Which is easier: to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he told the paralyzed man,“ I tell you: Get up, take your stretcher, and go home.”Immediately he got up before them, picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.Then everyone was astounded, and they were giving glory to God. And they were filled with awe and said,“ We have seen incredible things today.”

“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the LORD’s declaration.“ I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the LORD,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

How joyful is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!How joyful is a person whom the LORD does not charge with iniquity and in whose spirit is no deceit!

Then the news about him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And he healed them.

Just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:Blessed are those whose lawless acts are forgiven and whose sins are covered.Blessed is the person the Lord will never charge with sin.

Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”Then he said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”Those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this man who even forgives sins?”And he said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.”

“ Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.“ Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and announce to her that her time of hard service is over, her iniquity has been pardoned, and she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.”

When evening came, after the sun had set, they brought to him all those who were sick and demon-possessed.

Go, eat your bread with pleasure, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God has already accepted your works.

“ Daughter,” he said to her,“ your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be healed from your affliction.”

When evening came, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick,

And not only that, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you.Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.
