Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man,“ Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Some men brought to him a man who could not walk. He was lying on a mat. Jesus saw that they had faith. So he said to the man,“ Don’t lose hope, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”

And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was noised that he was in the house.And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, no, not even about the door: and he spake the word unto them.And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four.And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, even God?And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( he saith to the sick of the palsy),I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

But Jesus turning and seeing her said, Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

And behold, men bring on a bed a man that was palsied: and they sought to bring him in, and to lay him before him.And not finding by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his couch into the midst before Jesus.And seeing their faith, he said, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?But Jesus perceiving their reasonings, answered and said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise and walk?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( he said unto him that was palsied), I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go unto thy house.And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his house, glorifying God.And amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God; and they were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to- day.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.

insomuch that unto the sick were carried away from his body handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out.

giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

And when Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

The same heard Paul speaking: who, fastening his eyes upon him, and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,

Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith apart from thy works, and I by my works will show thee my faith.

Jesus therefore saith unto them, Children, have ye aught to eat? They answered him, No.

And the report of him went forth into all Syria: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with demons, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them.

Even as David also pronounceth blessing upon the man, unto whom God reckoneth righteousness apart from works,saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not reckon sin.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that even forgiveth sins?And he said unto the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

insomuch that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that, as Peter came by, at the least his shadow might overshadow some one of them.And there also came together the multitude from the cities round about Jerusalem, bringing sick folk, and them that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem; and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she hath received of Jehovah’s hand double for all her sins.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.

And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were sick, and them that were possessed with demons.

Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God hath already accepted thy works.

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

And when even was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were sick:

and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
