For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and tell another,‘ Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下；对这个说‘去！’他就去；对那个说‘来！’他就来；对我的仆人说：‘你做这事！’他就去做。”

事實上，我也在人的權下，也有士兵在我之下。我對這個說『去』，他就去；對那個說『來』，他就來；對我的奴僕說『做這事』，他就去做。」

蓋我隸人權、有士卒隸我權、令此往則往、來則來、令僕行是則行是、

蓋我權屬人、兵權屬我、命去則去、命來則來、令僕行是、即行是、

蓋我屬人轄、亦有兵屬我轄、命此去則去、命彼來則來、令我僕行是則行是、

蓋予屬人權下、己亦帶有兵卒；命此去則去、召彼來則來、所諭於僕、罔有不從。』

For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I myself am a man under authority. And I have soldiers who obey my orders. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes. I tell that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my slave,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one,‘ Go,’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say,‘ Go,’ and they go, or‘ Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves,‘ Do this,’ they do it.”

Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as men pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters and to be well- pleasing in all things, not contradicting,

“ Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say,‘ Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and animal;’though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only would be delivered themselves.“ Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness.”For the Lord Yahweh says:“ How much more when I send my four severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, the famine, the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!

He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.

He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“ Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.He said to them,“ Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”They were greatly afraid, and said to one another,“ Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

lightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

“ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That abundance of waters may cover you?Can you send out lightnings, that they may go? Do they report to you,‘ Here we are?’

Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ,not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one,‘ Go!’ and he goes; and to another,‘ Come!’ and he comes; and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

Jesus rebuked him, saying,“ Be silent, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying,“ What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Your laws remain to this day, for all things serve you.

“‘ You sword of Yahweh, how long will it be before you are quiet? Put yourself back into your scabbard; rest, and be still.’“ How can you be quiet, since Yahweh has given you a command? Against Ashkelon, and against the seashore, there has he appointed it.”
