耶穌應曰：『何爾信德之薄、而憂懼之多也！』遂起、斥風與海、霎時風平而浪靜、萬籟俱寂、一片安寧。

耶稣说：“你们这小信的人哪，为什么胆怯呢？”于是起来，斥责风和海，风和海就大大地平静了。

He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

And he said to them,“ Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

大能束其腰。神威鎮山嶽。

情急求主。轉危為安。狂風懾威。噤若寒蟬。駭浪順命。靜如蠶眠。既經風波。彌甘安恬。卒賴帝力。泊彼岸邊。

夫田間野草、今日暫存、而明日投爐者、天主尚且飾之若斯、而況於爾乎？噫、何爾信心之薄也！

浩浩宇宙宰。威儀實大備。全能亦全信。孰敢不敬畏。

耶穌醒而斥風、並謂海曰：『靜毋喧！』於是風平浪靜、一片安寧。乃謂徒曰：『胡斯餒也？豈尚無信德乎？』眾駭甚、彼此相告曰：『斯何人哉！並風與海亦惟命是聽矣！』

門徒醒之曰：『夫子、夫子、吾儕死矣。』耶穌起斥風浪、風浪立止、一片安恬、萬籟俱寂。耶穌乃謂其徒曰：『爾信德安在？』眾皆愕然而相語曰：『斯果何人？並風與水、亦惟命是從矣。』

手執已展之小卷、右足踏海、左足踐陸；

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

見徒鼓櫂、苦於風逆；四鼓、耶穌蹈海向門徒行、意欲越之。門徒見其行於海上、以為鬼物、不禁驚呼。蓋諸徒皆見之、莫不張皇失措。耶穌乃慰之曰：『爾其安心、我也、毋恐！』登舟風息、無不駭然。

耶穌知之、曰：『何爾信心之薄、而以無餅為慮乎；

其徒驚異曰：『斯誠何人、並風與海亦順其命矣！』

紅海為之不敢潮。約但倒流萬頃濤。大山踴躍如牡羊。小丘紛舞如群羔。借問紅海胡為不敢潮。約但胡為逡巡逃。大山胡為躍如羊。小丘胡為舞如羔。雅谷之主臨大地。大地亦戰戰。

洪水氾濫。浪濤澎湃。赫赫在上。坐鎮四海。狂瀾以恬。聖道常在。

無何怵於暴風、身將下沉、因大呼曰：『主其救我！』耶穌即伸手援之曰：『何爾信心之薄、而疑懼之多也！』

被之以水。有如褞袍。厥水滔滔。淹彼岧嶢。我主怒譴。退彼洪濤。懾主雷霆。逡巡潛逃。山嶽以升。眾谷以沈。高卑定位。實合天心。作之防閑。莫使相侵。
