耶穌應曰：『何爾信德之薄、而憂懼之多也！』遂起、斥風與海、霎時風平而浪靜、萬籟俱寂、一片安寧。

He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

He replied,“ Your faith is so small! Why are you so afraid?” Then Jesus got up and ordered the winds and the waves to stop. It became completely calm.

And he said to them,“ Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Jesus responded,“ Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

He said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

He* said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.

But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“ All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. (niv)

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. (niv)

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you— you of little faith? (niv)

You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. (niv)

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves,“ Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.He said to his disciples,“ Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”They were terrified and asked each other,“ Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” (niv)

The disciples went and woke him, saying,“ Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.“ Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another,“ Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” (niv)

He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, (niv)

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, (niv)

He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said,“ Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed, (niv)

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked,“ You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? (niv)

“ Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness,when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place,when I said,‘ This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’? (niv)

The men were amazed and asked,“ What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” (niv)

When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst.I clothe the heavens with darkness and make sackcloth its covering.”The Sovereign Lord has given me a well- instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. (niv)

He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade. (niv)

The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back?Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs?Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, (niv)

who sent his glorious arm of power to be at Moses’ right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown, (niv)

The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty. (niv)

when he established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. (niv)

But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out,“ Lord, save me!”Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.“ You of little faith,” he said,“ why did you doubt?” (niv)

You covered it with the watery depths as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;they flowed over the mountains, they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them.You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the earth. (niv)

Were you angry with the rivers, Lord? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory? (niv)
