On that day, when evening came, He* said to them,“ Let’s go over to the other side.”

Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them,“ Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.

So Jesus, aware that they intended to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself, alone.

Now when day came, Jesus left and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and they came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving them.But He said to them,“ I must also preach the kingdom of God to the other cities, because I was sent for this purpose.”

Immediately afterward He compelled the disciples to get into the boat and to go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

When Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him; and He stayed by the seashore.

And leaving them, He again embarked and went away to the other side.

When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.

And immediately Jesus had His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He Himself* dismissed the crowd.

And in the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and prayed there for a time.Simon and his companions eagerly searched for Him;and they found Him and* said to Him,“ Everyone is looking for You.”He* said to them,“ Let’s go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may also preach there; for this is why I came.”
