身为以色列人，他们拥有上帝儿子的名分、上帝的荣耀、诸约、律法、圣殿敬拜和各种应许。

不要心里说，‘我们是亚伯拉罕的子孙。’我告诉你们，上帝可以从这些石头中兴起亚伯拉罕的子孙。现在斧头已经放在树根上了，不结好果子的树都要被砍下，丢在火里。

他们如同枯干的水井和被狂风吹散的雾气，有幽幽黑暗留给他们。

麦田代表整个世界，那些好种子就是天国的子民。毒麦就是那些属于魔鬼的人，

即使天使犯了罪，上帝也没有容忍他们，而是把他们丢在地狱里，囚在幽暗的深坑等候审判。

他们是海中的狂涛，翻动着自己可耻的泡沫，是流荡的星星，有幽幽黑暗永远留给他们。

你们是先知的子孙，也承受了上帝和你们祖先所立的约。上帝曾对亚伯拉罕说，‘天下万族必因你的后裔而蒙福。’

在审判那天，很多人会对我说，‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行了许多神迹吗？’我会清楚地告诉他们，‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人走开！’
