何察察於兄弟目中之纖芥、而不見自己目中之巨木乎？

“ Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

“ You look at the bit of sawdust in your friend’s eye. But you pay no attention to the piece of wood in your own eye.

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

Why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye?

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.

“ And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?How can you think of saying,‘ Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

But now I will rebuke you, listing all my charges against you.

But a prophet of the Lord named Oded was there in Samaria when the army of Israel returned home. He went out to meet them and said,“ The Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah and let you defeat them. But you have gone too far, killing them without mercy, and all heaven is disturbed.And now you are planning to make slaves of these people from Judah and Jerusalem. What about your own sins against the Lord your God?
