( for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

“ But why do you call Me‘ Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

But He said,“ More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

“ Afterward the other virgins came also, saying,‘ Lord, Lord, open to us!’But he answered and said,‘ Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

“ Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus answered,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

and said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality;

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

His Lord said to him,‘ Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’

He who hates Me hates My Father also.

in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

“ Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah; Who swear by the name of the Lord, And make mention of the God of Israel, But not in truth or in righteousness;For they call themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is His name:

Israel will cry to Me,‘ My God, we know You!’Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him.

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

‘ He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father;

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

“ So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

“ Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying,“ We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.”Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.And the evil spirit answered and said,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds.Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples,“ How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them,“ Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!

“ If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying,“ O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

“ Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire—
