“ Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the way is spacious that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

務宜勉入窄門；華門廣道、引入淪亡、而人多趨之；

“ Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

“ Enter God’s kingdom through the narrow gate. The gate is large and the road is wide that leads to ruin. Many people go that way.

“ Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

“ You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.

“ Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it.

“ Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way that leads to death.

Jesus replied,“ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture.

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

When a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life.Because he considered and turned from all the sins he had done, he will surely live; he will not die.Yet the house of Israel says,‘ The Lord’s conduct is unjust!’ Is my conduct unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your conduct that is unjust?“ Therefore I will judge each person according to his conduct, O house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD. Repent and turn from all your wickedness; then it will not be an obstacle leading to iniquity.Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why should you die, O house of Israel?For I take no delight in the death of anyone, declares the sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

Abandon your foolish ways so that you may live, and proceed in the way of understanding.”

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance,

For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the ungodly and sinners?

“ But woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You keep locking people out of the kingdom of heaven! For you neither enter nor permit those trying to enter to go in.

in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience,among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest…

If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire.

Therefore“ come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord,“ and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you,

among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

God saw the earth, and indeed it was ruined, for all living creatures on the earth were sinful.

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”With many other words he testified and exhorted them saying,“ Save yourselves from this perverse generation!”

He called a child, had him stand among them,and said,“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn around and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!

In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.

The angel then threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it so that he could not deceive the nations until the one thousand years were finished.( After these things he must be released for a brief period of time.)

If the LORD who commands armies had not left us a few survivors, we would have quickly become like Sodom, we would have become like Gomorrah.

What then? Are we better off? Certainly not, for we have already charged that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin,just as it is written:“ There is no one righteous, not even one,there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God.All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one.”“ Their throats are open graves, they deceive with their tongues, the poison of asps is under their lips.”“ Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood,ruin and misery are in their paths,and the way of peace they have not known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

and all those who live on the earth will worship the beast, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was killed.

So that huge dragon– the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world– was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him.

But what if God, willing to demonstrate his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath prepared for destruction?

And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

With flaming fire he will mete out punishment on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

Her house is the way to the grave, going down to the chambers of death.

The LORD looks down from heaven at the human race, to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God.Everyone rejects God; they are all morally corrupt. None of them does what is right, not even one!

We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

But the LORD saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time.

Then as the men were starting to leave, Peter said to Jesus,“ Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”– not knowing what he was saying.
