“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident alien. They do not fear me,” says the LORD of Armies.

For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.For he who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker.Speak and act as those who are to be judged by the law of freedom.For judgment is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Learn to do what is good. Pursue justice. Correct the oppressor. Defend the rights of the fatherless. Plead the widow’s cause.“ Come, let’s settle this,” says the LORD.“ Though your sins are scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are crimson red, they will be like wool.
