我民宜入室闔門、暫匿其身、待患難之過、

耶和華青睞義人、俯聞其祈兮、

勿以禁食現於人、乃現於隱微之父、爾父監於隱者、將顯以報爾也、○

彼得遣眾出、屈膝祈禱、向尸曰、大比大起、婦啟目、見彼得、遂起而坐、

耶穌偕門徒、至一地名客西馬尼、謂之曰、爾曹坐此、我前進祈禱、遂攜彼得及西比太二子、憂愁哀慟、耶穌曰、我心甚憂、瀕死矣、爾居此、同我儆醒、少進、俯伏祈禱曰、父與、若可得免、則以此杯去我、雖然、非從我所欲、乃從爾所欲也。

越日行將近城、時當午正、彼得升屋祈禱、

雅各獨留、遇一人、與之角力、迄於黎明。相角之時、其人自知不勝、擊雅各髀傷之、曰天將明矣、請釋我去。雅各曰、不為我祝嘏、必不容爾去。曰爾何名。曰、雅各。曰今以後、不祇名雅各、更名以色列、蓋爾得志於上帝前、與人爭無不勝。雅各曰、請以爾名告我。曰、曷問我名。遂在彼錫嘏。

蓋從欲者、體欲之情、從神者、體神之情、

為此、吾曲跽於吾主耶穌基督父前、

哥尼流曰、前四日此時、我方禁食、申初在家祈禱、忽有一人、衣服皎然、立於前、

如是、則爾之施濟隱矣、爾父監於隱者、將顯以報爾、○

耶穌曰、我未升見父、勿援止我、往告我兄弟、曰、我升見我父、即爾父、我上帝、即爾上帝、

拿但業曰、何由知我、耶穌曰、腓力未呼爾、爾在無花果樹下、我已見爾矣、
