坚固门徒们的心，鼓励他们持守信仰，说：“我们进入神的国，必须经过很多患难。”

免得有人在这些患难中动摇。因为你们自己知道，我们要受患难是注定的。事实上，我们还在你们那里的时候，早就不断地告诉你们，我们将要受患难，这果然应验了，就像你们所知道的那样。
