我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、所衣不及此花之一也、

我告爾、即所羅門極榮華時、其服飾不及此花之一、

第吾語爾、即以所羅門之黼黻文章、盛極一時者、視一朵玉簪、猶有遜色。

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

All of King Solomon’s drinking cups were solid gold, as were all the utensils in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon. They were not made of silver, for silver was considered worthless in Solomon’s day!The king had a fleet of trading ships of Tarshish manned by the sailors sent by Hiram. Once every three years the ships returned, loaded with gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.So King Solomon became richer and wiser than any other king on earth.

They put their trust in God and accepted the authority of their husbands.

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes.For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.
