然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！

但我告訴你們，就連所羅門王最顯赫時的穿戴還不如一朵百合花！

但我告訴你們，就是所羅門最威榮的時候所穿的，也比不上這花中的一朵。

然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門在他極盛的榮華裏，還沒有披戴過像這些花的一朵呢。

但是我告訴你們：就連所羅門在他最榮耀的時候，所穿戴的也不如這些花中的一朵。

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、所衣不及此花之一也、

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、其衣不及此花之一、

我告爾、即所羅門極榮華時、其服飾不及此花之一、

第吾語爾、即以所羅門之黼黻文章、盛極一時者、視一朵玉簪、猶有遜色。

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

But here is what I tell you. Not even Solomon in all his royal robes was dressed like one of these flowers.

yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these.

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Not one was silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.For the king’s ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys.So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.Do not let your adornment be merely outward— arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,

the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.Then she said to the king:“ It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.However I did not believe their words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You exceed the fame of which I heard.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.Then she said to the king:“ It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.However I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard.

in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
