然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！

但我告訴你們，就連所羅門王最顯赫時的穿戴還不如一朵百合花！

但我告訴你們，就是所羅門最威榮的時候所穿的，也比不上這花中的一朵。

然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門在他極盛的榮華裏，還沒有披戴過像這些花的一朵呢。

但是我告訴你們：就連所羅門在他最榮耀的時候，所穿戴的也不如這些花中的一朵。

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、所衣不及此花之一也、

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、其衣不及此花之一、

我告爾、即所羅門極榮華時、其服飾不及此花之一、

第吾語爾、即以所羅門之黼黻文章、盛極一時者、視一朵玉簪、猶有遜色。

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

But here is what I tell you. Not even Solomon in all his royal robes was dressed like one of these flowers.

yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.

All of King Solomon’s drinking cups were gold, and all the utensils of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. There was no silver, since it was considered as nothing in Solomon’s time,for the king’s ships kept going to Tarshish with Hiram’s servants, and once every three years the ships of Tarshish would arrive bearing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the world in riches and wisdom.

when they observe your pure, reverent lives.Don’t let your beauty consist of outward things like elaborate hairstyles and wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes,but rather what is inside the heart— the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.For in the past, the holy women who put their hope in God also adorned themselves in this way, submitting to their own husbands,

the food at his table, his servants’ residence, his attendants’ service and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and the burnt offerings he offered at the LORD’s temple, it took her breath away.She said to the king,“ The report I heard in my own country about your words and about your wisdom is true.But I didn’t believe their reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, I was not even told half of your great wisdom! You far exceed the report I heard.

When the queen of Sheba observed all of Solomon’s wisdom, the palace he had built,the food at his table, his servants’ residence, his attendants’ service and their attire, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he offered at the LORD’s temple, it took her breath away.She said to the king,“ The report I heard in my own country about your words and about your wisdom is true.But I didn’t believe the reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, I was not even told half. Your wisdom and prosperity far exceed the report I heard.

Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense, not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel,but with good works, as is proper for women who profess to worship God.
