但是我告訴你們：就連所羅門在他最榮耀的時候，所穿戴的也不如這些花中的一朵。

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、所衣不及此花之一也、

我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、其衣不及此花之一、

我告爾、即所羅門極榮華時、其服飾不及此花之一、

第吾語爾、即以所羅門之黼黻文章、盛極一時者、視一朵玉簪、猶有遜色。

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

But here is what I tell you. Not even Solomon in all his royal robes was dressed like one of these flowers.

yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these.

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!

And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: silver was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram; once every three years came the ships of Tarshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

beholding your chaste behavior coupled with fear.Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel;but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.For after this manner aforetime the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands:

and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, his cupbearers also, and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of Jehovah; there was no more spirit in her.And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom.Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of Jehovah; there was no more spirit in her.And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom.Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me; thy wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame which I heard.

In like manner, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefastness and sobriety; not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly raiment;but( which becometh women professing godliness) through good works.
