應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉着禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。

耶穌又對他們說：「我差你們出去的時候，沒有錢囊，沒有口袋，沒有鞋，你們缺少甚麼沒有？」他們說：「沒有。」耶穌說：「但如今有錢囊的可以帶着，有口袋的也可以帶着，沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。

約翰回答說：「有兩件衣裳的，就分給那沒有的；有食物的，也當這樣行。」

你想百合花怎麼長起來；它也不勞苦，也不紡線。然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！

行路不要帶口袋；不要帶兩件褂子，也不要帶鞋和柺杖。因為工人得飲食是應當的。
