他賜食物給走獸和啼叫的小烏鴉。

兩隻麻雀不是賣一銅錢嗎？你們的父若不許，一隻也不會掉在地上。就是你們的頭髮也都數過了。所以，不要懼怕，你們比許多的麻雀還貴重！」

萬有的眼目都仰望你，你按時給他們食物。你張手，使一切有生命的都隨願飽足。

你們想一想烏鴉：牠們既不種也不收，既沒有倉又沒有庫，神尚且養活牠們。你們比飛鳥要貴重得多呢！你們哪一個能藉着憂慮使壽數多加一刻呢？這最小的事你們尚且不能做，何必憂慮其餘的事呢？你們想一想百合花是怎麼長起來的：它也不勞動，也不紡線。然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的還不如這些花的一朵呢！你們這小信的人哪！野地裏的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裏，神還給它這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢？你們不要求吃甚麼，喝甚麼，也不要掛慮。這都是世上的外邦人所求的；你們需要這些東西，你們的父都知道。你們只要求他的國，這些東西就必加給你們了。你們這小羣，不要懼怕，因為你們的父樂意把國賜給你們。

這些都仰望你按時給牠們食物。你給牠們，牠們就拾起來；你張手，牠們就飽得美食。

五隻麻雀不是賣二銅錢嗎？但在神面前，一隻也不被忘記；就是你們的頭髮也都數過了。不要懼怕，你們比許多的麻雀還貴重！」

你們中間誰有兒子求餅，反給他石頭呢？

教導我們多過地上的走獸，使我們比空中的飛鳥更聰明。』

神說：「看哪，我把全地一切含種子的五穀菜蔬和一切會結果子、果子裏有種子的樹，都賜給你們；這些都可作食物。至於地上一切的走獸、天空一切的飛鳥，並一切在地上爬行的，有生命的動物，我把綠色植物賜給牠們作食物。」事就這樣成了。神看一切所造的，看哪，都非常好。有晚上，有早晨，這是第六日。

使野地的走獸有水喝，野驢得解其渴。天上的飛鳥在水旁住宿，在枝幹間啼叫。

這都是外邦人所求的。你們需要這一切東西，你們的天父都知道。
