万有的眼目都仰望你，你按时给他们食物。你张手，使一切有生命的都随愿饱足。

你们想一想乌鸦：它们既不种也不收，既没有仓又没有库，神尚且养活它们。你们比飞鸟要贵重得多呢！你们哪一个能藉着忧虑使寿数多加一刻呢？这最小的事你们尚且不能做，何必忧虑其余的事呢？你们想一想百合花是怎么长起来的：它也不劳动，也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的还不如这些花的一朵呢！你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢？你们不要求吃什么，喝什么，也不要挂虑。这都是世上的外邦人所求的；你们需要这些东西，你们的父都知道。你们只要求他的国，这些东西就必加给你们了。你们这小群，不要惧怕，因为你们的父乐意把国赐给你们。

这些都仰望你按时给它们食物。你给它们，它们就拾起来；你张手，它们就饱得美食。

五只麻雀不是卖二铜钱吗？但在神面前，一只也不被忘记；就是你们的头发也都数过了。不要惧怕，你们比许多的麻雀还贵重！”

你们中间谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头呢？

教导我们多过地上的走兽，使我们比空中的飞鸟更聪明。’

神说：“看哪，我把全地一切含种子的五谷菜蔬和一切会结果子、果子里有种子的树，都赐给你们；这些都可作食物。至于地上一切的走兽、天空一切的飞鸟，并一切在地上爬行的，有生命的动物，我把绿色植物赐给它们作食物。”事就这样成了。神看一切所造的，看哪，都非常好。有晚上，有早晨，这是第六日。

使野地的走兽有水喝，野驴得解其渴。天上的飞鸟在水旁住宿，在枝干间啼叫。

这都是外邦人所求的。你们需要这一切东西，你们的天父都知道。
