他賜糧食給走獸，也給啼叫的烏鴉幼雛。

兩隻麻雀不是賣一個小錢嗎？但如果沒有你們父的允許，一隻也不會掉在地上。至於你們，就是每一根頭髮也都被數過了。所以不要怕！你們比一大群麻雀還重要。

一切的眼目都仰望你，你按時賜給他們食物；你張開手，使一切有生命的都意願滿足。

應該想一想烏鴉：牠們不撒種，也不收割，沒有倉也沒有庫，神尚且養活牠們；更何況你們，你們比飛鳥還重要呢！你們當中誰能因著憂慮使自己的壽命延長一刻呢？因此，你們如果連最小的事也不能做，為什麼還要為其他的事憂慮呢？「應該想一想百合花是怎麼生長的：它不勞動，也不紡織。但是我告訴你們：就連所羅門在他最榮耀的時候，所穿戴的也不如這些花中的一朵。你們這些小信的人哪！野地裡的草今天還在，明天就被丟進火爐裡，神尚且這樣裝扮它，更何況你們呢！你們不要追求吃什麼、喝什麼，也不要掛慮。因為這一切都是世界外邦人所尋求的，而你們的父已經知道你們需要這些了。「不過你們應當尋求神的國，這些都將加給你們了。你們這一小群哪，不要怕，因為你們的父樂意把國度賜給你們。

所有這些都仰望你按時賜給牠們食物。你賜給它們，牠們就收取；你張開手，它們就飽享美食。

五隻麻雀不是賣兩個小錢嗎？可是在神面前，一隻也不會被忘記；而且，就是你們的每一根頭髮也都被數過了。不要怕！你們比一大群麻雀還重要。

你們當中有哪個人，兒子要餅，卻給他石頭呢？

神說：「看哪，我把全地上一切結種子的蔬草和一切果實中帶種子的樹，都賜給你們；這些都可作為你們的食物。至於地上的一切野獸、天空的一切飛鳥和在地上活動的一切有氣息的生物，我把各樣綠色植物都賜給牠們作食物。」事情就如此成就了。神看著他所造的一切，看哪，都非常好！有晚上，有早晨；這是第六日。

讓田野的一切野獸有水喝；野驢得以解渴。天空的飛鳥在水邊安居，從枝葉中間發出聲音。

因為這一切都是外邦人所尋求的，而你們的天父已經知道你們需要這一切了。
