祂赐食物给走兽，喂养嗷嗷待哺的小乌鸦。

乌鸦的幼雏饿得飞来飞去，向上帝哀鸣时，谁供应乌鸦食物？

两只麻雀不是只卖一个铜钱吗？然而没有天父的许可，一只也不会掉在地上。就连你们的头发都被数过了。所以不要害怕，你们比许多麻雀更贵重！

世人都仰赖你，你按时赐给他们所需的食物。你慷慨满足一切生命的需要。

你们看，乌鸦不种也不收，没仓也没库，上帝尚且养活它们，你们比飞鸟不知要贵重多少！“你们谁能用忧虑使自己多活片刻呢？既然你们连这样的小事都无能为力，又何必为其余的事忧虑呢？看看百合花如何生长吧，它们既不劳苦，也不纺织，但我告诉你们，就连所罗门王最显赫时的穿戴还不如一朵百合花！“野地的草今天还在，明天就要被丢在炉中，上帝还这样装扮它们，何况你们呢？你们的信心太小了！你们不要为吃什么喝什么忧虑，因为这些都是外族人的追求，你们的天父知道你们需要这些。你们要寻求祂的国，祂必供给你们的需要。“你们这一小群人啊，不要怕！因为你们的天父乐意把祂的国赐给你们。

它们都倚靠你按时供应食物。它们从你那里得到供应，你伸手赐下美食，使它们饱足。

“五只麻雀不是只卖两个铜钱吗？但上帝连一只麻雀也不会遗忘。其实就连你们的头发都被数过了。不要害怕，你们比许多麻雀要贵重！

“你们做父亲的，谁会在儿子要饼时给他石头，

使我们比地上的走兽聪明，比天上的飞鸟有智慧。’

上帝对人说：“看啊，我把地上所有结种子的菜蔬和所有树上有籽的果子都赐给你们作食物。我把植物赐给所有地上的走兽、空中的飞鸟及地上的爬虫作食物。”果然如此。上帝看了，感到非常满意。晚上过去，早晨到来，这是第六天。

让野地的动物有水喝，野驴可以解渴。飞鸟也在溪旁栖息，在树梢上歌唱。

因为这些都是外族人的追求，你们的天父知道你们的需要。
