爾毋儲富於地；蠹蝕焉、銹敗焉、竊者穿窬而盜焉。

務絕貪婪、以己所有者為足、蓋經載主曰、我必不棄爾、不離爾、

凡為己積財、而在天主前不富者、亦如是、

噫、富者乎、當哀哭號泣、因苦難將臨爾也、爾之財壞矣、爾之衣蠹矣、爾之金銀銹矣、此銹即攻爾之證、且將蝕爾之肉如火之焚、爾在此末日、但知積財、爾在此末日但知積財或作爾之積財乃為末日也

勿專於求富、勿視己為哲、爾豈可為轉瞬即無之貨財勤勞乎、貨財速去、如空中飛鷹、似乎有翼、或作爾豈可注目於貨財乎貨財速歸無有似乎有翼如空中飛鷹

有衣食即當知足、圖富有者陷誘惑、罹網羅、墮無理有害之慾中即溺人於沈淪及滅亡者也、貪利為萬惡之根、有人慕之、則迷失於道、以多苦自刺、

當諭此世之富者、心勿驕傲、勿恃無定之財、惟恃永生天主、厚賜我眾百物以享之、

耶穌聞之曰、爾猶缺一、悉鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我、

獲智慧勝於獲金、獲明哲愈於獲銀、

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備常新之囊、及不匱之財在天、即盜不至、蠹不壞之處、

主震怒之日、彼之金銀不能救之、主怒憤烈、主怒憤烈或作主震怒如火之烈必毀斯全地、猝然滅斯地一切居民、

貨財增、食者亦增、有貨財之人有何益、不過目觀而已、勞者無論食多食寡、寢必沈酣、富者豐裕、反不得寢、我又見日下有一事、更為大患、貨財存積、反害本主、遭遇患難、貲財俱失、雖生子、手中毫無所有、以遺於子、蓋裸身而去、與其出母胎而來無異、所勞碌而得者、毫不能攜、

值震怒震怒或作施刑之日、貨財無益、惟善德能救人於死、

耶穌見其憂甚、曰、有財者進天主國、難矣哉、

勒索之貨不可倚賴、劫奪之財不可妄恃、貨財雖然加多、莫以為念、

人生在世、猶如幻影、營謀皆是枉然、積蓄不知誰取、

耶穌曰、爾欲純全、往鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我、

何曾以金為望、何曾云精金為我所恃、

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、
