爾毋儲富於地；蠹蝕焉、銹敗焉、竊者穿窬而盜焉。

勿好利、以爾所有為足、蓋上帝嘗云、我必不棄爾、不遺爾也、

凡積財於己、而於上帝前不富者亦如是、○

噫、富者歟、宜悲泣號咷、因苦難將臨於爾也、爾財壞矣、爾衣蠹矣、爾金銀銹矣、其銹將為證於爾、且如火而蝕爾肉、爾已積財於末日也、

勿苦求富饒、勿自恃己智、豈可注目虛無、蓋貨財誠生羽翼、如鷹飛戾天、

惟有衣食即當知足、圖富有者、乃陷於誘惑機檻、及無知有害之諸慾、溺人於滅亡者也、蓋好利為萬惡之根、有慕之者、迷失乎信、以多苦自刺、○

當諭今世之富有者、志勿高、勿望無定之財、惟望上帝、即厚以百物賜我者、

耶穌聞此、語之曰、爾猶缺一、悉鬻所有以濟貧、則將有財於天、且來從我、

得智慧愈於得金、獲明哲愈於獲銀、

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備不舊之囊、在天不匱之財、即盜不至、蠹不敗之處、

耶和華震怒之日、彼之金銀不能救之、全地必為其憤嫉之火所滅、凡居斯土者、必猝然滅絕、

好金者、得金而不知足、好富者、獲利而不知饜、斯亦虛空、貨財增、食之者亦增、其主有何益哉、惟目睹之而已、工人食無多寡、俱得安眠、富者以其豐裕、不得寢睡、○我於日下見有大患、乃人存積貨財、反自害也、猝遭禍患、貨財俱亡、如其生子、手無所有、

震怒之日、資財無益、惟義拯人於死、

耶穌見之、曰、有財者入上帝國難矣哉、

勿惟暴虐是恃、勿因刦奪而驕、貨財增益、勿繫念兮、

世人行動乃虛幻、擾攘乃徒勞、積蓄貨財、不知誰取兮、

耶穌曰、爾欲為完人、往售所有以濟貧、則將有財於天、且來從我、

我若惟金是望、謂精金曰、爾為我之所恃、

彼所悅者、錫以智慧、知識歡樂、惟以憂勞加於罪人、使其所收所積、歸於上帝所悅者、斯亦虛空、乃為捕風、
