But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

以怨報怨、庸有當乎？立身當光明磊落、務求上可對主、下可對人；處世以和平為本、亦惟盡其在我、任其在他而已矣。人以橫逆相加、望我兄弟無思自為報復、靜候天討可也。主不云乎、『報復乃吾之事也；賞善罰惡、有吾在焉。』

又有進者、兄弟間有爭訟之事、已屬不是；孰若甘心抱屈、犯而不校之為善乎？

爾顛倒黑白、定彼仁者之罪而殘殺之、而仁者固不爾抗也。

爾等之抵抗罪孽、究竟未至流血也。

蒙其目、批其頰、而嘲之曰：『先知、試言誰擊爾者。』
