勿指地而誓、因地乃天主之足凳也、勿指耶路撒冷而誓、因耶路撒冷乃大君之京都也、

毋指地而誓、此天主之足磴也；毋指耶路撒冷而誓、此天君之聖邑也。

北面的錫安山雄偉壯麗，令世人歡喜，是偉大君王的城。

許願時說要獻上羊群中的公羊，後來卻拿傷殘的來獻給主，這種人該受咒詛！因為我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

我被聖靈感動，天使帶著我到一座高大的山上，將從天上的上帝那裡降下的聖城新耶路撒冷指給我看。

要尊崇我們的上帝耶和華，俯伏在祂腳凳前敬拜，祂是聖潔的。

我又看見聖城新耶路撒冷從天上的上帝那裡降下，預備好了，像妝飾整齊等候新郎的新娘。

但如今，我揀選了耶路撒冷作為我名所在之地，又揀選了大衛來治理我的以色列子民。』」

在雅各的住處中，祂最喜愛錫安的門。
