爾又聞有語古人云、勿背誓、誓必償之於主、

“你们又听见有吩咐古人的话，说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们又听过有对古人说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们又听过有对古人说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们也听过吩咐古人的话，‘不可违背誓言，总要向主遵守所起的誓。’

“你们又听过有这样吩咐古人的话：‘不可背约，向主许的愿都要偿还。’

“另外，你们听过那吩咐古人的话：‘不可起假誓。你所起的誓，总要向主偿还。’

「你們又聽見有吩咐古人的話，說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們又聽過有對古人說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們又聽過有對古人說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們也聽過吩咐古人的話，『不可違背誓言，總要向主遵守所起的誓。』

“你們又聽過有這樣吩咐古人的話：‘不可背約，向主許的願都要償還。’

『再者，你們曾聽見有話對古人說：「不可違背所起的誓；你所起的誓總要向主清還。」

「另外，你們聽過那吩咐古人的話：『不可起假誓。你所起的誓，總要向主償還。』

又聞古者有言、毋背誓願、指主而誓願者、必守之、

爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿妄誓、所誓者、當為主而守之、

爾又聞誡古人之言曰：「毋背誓、誓於主者當踐履之。」

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago,‘ Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’

“ Again, you have heard what was said to your people long ago. They were told,‘ Do not break the promises you make to the Lord. Keep your promises to the Lord that you have made.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’

“ You have also heard that our ancestors were told,‘ You must not break your vows; you must carry out the vows you make to the Lord.’

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord.

“ Again, you have heard that the ancients were told,‘ You shall not make false vows, but shall fulfill your vows to the Lord.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’

Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord.

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to an older generation,‘ Do not break an oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones,‘ You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’

許願於爾上帝耶和華、償之勿遲、彼必討之於爾、若不償之、則為有罪、

毋指我名而妄誓、致瀆爾上帝之名、我乃耶和華也、

許願於上帝、宜償之勿緩、蓋彼不悅愚者、所許者必償之、許願不償、寧不許願、勿縱爾口陷身於罪、勿於使者前曰、乃錯誤也、曷使上帝聞爾聲而怒、敗爾手之所為、

言出於口、則必行之、循其所許、樂輸於爾上帝耶和華者、○

爾其許願、向爾上帝耶和華償之、四周之人、詣可畏者而獻禮兮、

如人指耶和華許願、或發誓以制其心、則勿食言、必循其口所出、若女年幼、尚在父家、指耶和華許願、以束其身、若父聞其所許之願、制心之約、默然無語、則其所許之願、制心之約為定、如父聞而不允、則其所許之願、制心之約弗定、耶和華必宥之、因其父不允也、如女許願、或造次出言、以制其心、而後適人、夫聞之日、默然無語、則其所許之願、制心之約為定、如夫聞而不允、則其所許之願、造次制心之言以廢、耶和華必宥之、惟嫠婦棄婦、所許之願當償、制心之約為定、如婦在夫家許願、或發誓以制其心、夫聞默然、而不之禁、則其所許之願、制心之約為定、如夫聞而廢之、則其許願所出之言、制心之約弗定、耶和華必宥之、因其夫廢之也、婦或許願、或發誓束身、以苦其心、夫可成之、亦可廢之、如夫歷日默然無語、則其所許之願、束身之約、為夫所定、蓋聞之而默然也、如夫聞而廢之、必負其罪、以上所載、乃耶和華所諭摩西、夫於其婦、父於在家之幼女、其例若此、

其以感謝為祭、獻於上帝、向至高者償爾願兮、

禍哉、爾瞽而導者乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿之金而誓、則當償之、愚而瞽者歟、孰為大、金乎、抑使金成聖之殿乎、爾又云、指壇而誓、則無事、惟指壇上禮物而誓、則當償之、瞽者歟、孰為大、禮物乎、抑使禮物成聖之壇乎、故指壇而誓、是指壇及在其上者而誓也、指殿而誓、是指殿及居其中者而誓也、指天而誓、是指上帝座、及坐其上者而誓也、○

試觀報嘉音、傳和平者、其足立於山上、猶大歟、守爾節期、償爾所願、蓋彼惡者盡滅、不復過爾境矣、

勿妄稱爾上帝耶和華之名、蓋耶和華必不以妄稱者為無罪、○

爾聞有言、勿淫、
