至於已有家室者、予有命焉、豈第予命實主命也：妻不得離其夫、即離、當守獨身、或言歸於好；夫亦不得離其妻。

對曰：『摩西以汝心如鐵石、姑容出妻、非自始已然。吾語爾、凡非因不貞之故、出其妻而別娶者、姦也；娶已出之妻者、亦姦也。』

耶穌曰：『摩西以爾心如鐵石、故為爾書此誡命、非得已也。然自創世之始、天主肇造男女、「是故男子當離其父母、好合其妻、二人成為一體。」是則不復為二、乃為一體矣。夫天主之所合、人孰得而離之？』耶穌回寓、門徒復以此為問。耶穌曰：『出妻而他娶、是背妻而姦也。妻若離夫而別嫁、亦姦也。』

為妻者對其自身不能自由處置、處置之權屬於乃夫；為夫者亦不能自由處置其自身、處置之權屬於乃妻。雙方不得彼此剝奪其權；

第吾語爾、見婦人而懷邪念、心中已犯姦非矣。

有音發自雲間、曰：『斯吾聖子、吾所欣悅、爾曹其聽從之！』
