But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

But here is what I tell you. Anyone who divorces his wife makes her a victim of adultery. And anyone who gets married to the divorced woman commits adultery. A man may divorce his wife only if she has not been faithful to him.

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery.

丈夫还活着的时候，她若与别的男人发生性关系，便算淫妇。丈夫若死了，她就脱离了与丈夫的婚姻关系，即使改嫁，也不是淫妇。

任何人休妻另娶，就是犯通奸罪，娶被休的女子也是犯通奸罪。”

我也吩咐那些已婚的人，其实不是我吩咐，而是主吩咐：妻子不可离开丈夫，若是离开了，妻子不可再嫁别人，只能与丈夫复合。丈夫也不可离弃妻子。

耶稣说：“因为摩西知道你们铁石心肠，所以才准你们休妻。但起初并不是这样。我告诉你们，除非是妻子不贞，否则，任何人休妻另娶，就是犯通奸罪。”

耶稣说：“摩西因为你们心硬，才给你们写了这条诫命。太初创造时，‘上帝造了男人和女人。’‘因此，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。’这样，夫妻不再是两个人，而是一体了。因此，上帝配合的，人不可分开。”回到屋里后，门徒追问耶稣这件事。耶稣说：“任何人休妻另娶，就是对妻子不忠，是犯通奸罪。同样，妻子若离弃丈夫另嫁，也是犯通奸罪。”

妻子无权支配自己的身体，丈夫才有权；丈夫也无权支配自己的身体，妻子才有权。

但我告诉你们，凡看见妇女就动淫念的，他在心里已经犯了通奸罪。

你们还问为什么。因为耶和华在你和你的发妻中间作证，她是你的配偶，是你盟约的妻子，你却对她不忠。上帝不是把你们结合为一体，叫你们肉体和心灵都归祂吗？祂为何这样做？是为了得敬虔的后裔。所以，你们要小心谨慎，不可对自己的发妻不忠。以色列的上帝耶和华说：“我憎恶休妻和以暴虐待妻子的人。所以你们要小心谨慎，不可有不忠的行为。”这是万军之耶和华说的。

云彩中有声音说：“这是我的儿子，是我拣选的，你们要听从祂！”

忽然，摩西和以利亚二人在跟耶稣交谈。
