凡不因我跌倒的有福了！”

人若把这些小子中的一个绊倒的，还不如把磨石拴在他的颈项上，丢在海里。

就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，使人跌倒的磐石；信靠他的人必不蒙羞。”

我提醒你们该怕的是谁：该怕那杀了以后又有权柄把人扔在地狱里的。是的，我告诉你们，正要怕他。

那时，耶稣对他们说：“今夜，你们为我的缘故都要跌倒。因为经上记着：‘我要击打牧人，羊就分散了。’

“凡使这些信我的小子中的一个跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里。这世界有祸了，因为它使人跌倒；绊倒人的事是免不了的，但那绊倒人的有祸了！

只因心里没有根，不过是暂时的，一旦为道遭受患难或迫害，立刻就跌倒。

于是王对侍从说：‘捆起他的手脚，把他扔在外边的黑暗里；在那里他要哀哭切齿了。’

耶稣转过来，对彼得说：“撒但，退到我后边去！你是我的绊脚石，因为你不体会神的心意，而是体会人的意思。”

不可因食物毁坏神的工作。一切都是洁净的，但有人因食物使人跌倒，这在他就是恶了。无论是吃肉是喝酒，是什么别的事，使弟兄跌倒，一概不做，才是善的。

所以，食物若使我的弟兄跌倒，我就永远不吃肉，免得使我的弟兄跌倒了。

弟兄们，我若仍旧传割礼，为什么还受迫害呢？若是这样，十字架绊倒人的地方就没有了。
