那领五千银子的又带着那另外的五千来，说：‘主啊，你交给我五千银子。请看，我又赚了五千。’

凡不因我跌倒的就有福了！”

就是把磨石拴在这人的颈项上，丢在海里，还强如他把这小子里的一个绊倒了。

就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至于羞愧。”

我要指示你们当怕的是谁：当怕那杀了以后又有权柄丢在地狱里的。我实在告诉你们，正要怕他。

那时，耶稣对他们说：“今夜，你们为我的缘故都要跌倒。因为经上记着说：‘我要击打牧人，羊就分散了。’

“凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里。这世界有祸了，因为将人绊倒；绊倒人的事是免不了的，但那绊倒人的有祸了！

只因心里没有根，不过是暂时的，及至为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

于是王对使唤的人说：‘捆起他的手脚来，把他丢在外边的黑暗里；在那里必要哀哭切齿了。’

耶稣转过来，对彼得说：“撒但，退我后边去吧！你是绊我脚的；因为你不体贴神的意思，只体贴人的意思。”

不可因食物毁坏神的工程。凡物固然洁净，但有人因食物叫人跌倒，就是他的罪了。无论是吃肉是喝酒，是什么别的事，叫弟兄跌倒，一概不做才好。

所以，食物若叫我弟兄跌倒，我就永远不吃肉，免得叫我弟兄跌倒了。

弟兄们，我若仍旧传割礼，为什么还受逼迫呢？若是这样，那十字架讨厌的地方就没有了。
