But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother,‘ You good for nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says,‘ You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says,‘ You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother,‘ Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says,‘ You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen.And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:neither give place to the devil.

And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice:and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.

to speak evil of no man, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men.

who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Then came Peter and said to him, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? until seven times?

In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another;

And straightway in the morning the chief priests with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found it not.

not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.

The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many signs.

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you;

They have compassed me about also with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause.

but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by the heaven, for it is the throne of God;

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil; But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident.

If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me( Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary;)

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:

that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death;

And if thy hand or thy foot causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed or halt, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.And if thine eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire.

For the violence done to thy brother Jacob, shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;

This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me.

The multitude answered, Thou hast a demon: who seeketh to kill thee?

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.

And certain also of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, What would this babbler say? others, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached Jesus and the resurrection.

but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:

But look not thou on the day of thy brother in the day of his disaster, and rejoice not over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither speak proudly in the day of distress.

But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Begone, begone, thou man of blood, and base fellow:

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,

Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.

And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why art thou come down? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thy heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.

And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, that were sold unto the nations; and would ye even sell your brethren, and should they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found never a word.

But this cometh to pass, that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in the prison- house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of hell than yourselves.

Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil- doing.

and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old.Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me; to him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.And Jehovah said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.

And if thy hand cause thee to stumble, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather than having thy two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

They have chased me sore like a bird, they that are mine enemies without cause.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: They that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: That which I took not away I have to restore.

A brutish man knoweth not; Neither doth a fool understand this:

As the partridge that sitteth on eggs which she hath not laid, so is he that getteth riches, and not by right; in the midst of his days they shall leave him, and at his end he shall be a fool.

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to- day, who uncovered himself to- day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.And if thy right eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.And if thy right hand causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body go into hell.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

The Jews answered and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?

And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calleth for stripes.

For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.So the decree went forth, and the wise men were to be slain; and they sought Daniel and his companions to be slain.

And he answered, Here I am, my lord.And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who among all thy servants is so faithful as David, who is the king’s son- in- law, and is taken into thy council, and is honorable in thy house?Have I to- day begun to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute anything unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for thy servant knoweth nothing of all this, less or more.And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.And the king said unto the guard that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of Jehovah; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and did not disclose it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of Jehovah.And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and he slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen and asses and sheep, with the edge of the sword.And one of the sons of Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.And Abiathar told David that Saul had slain Jehovah’s priests.And David said unto Abiathar, I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father’s house.Abide thou with me, fear not; for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: for with me thou shalt be in safeguard.

For he shall see it. Wise men die; The fool and the brutish alike perish, And leave their wealth to others.

And his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren; and they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.But he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had made known to him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a demon.The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold, a gluttonous man and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! And wisdom is justified by her works.

And Saul was very wroth, and this saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

Then Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of a perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own shame, and unto the shame of thy mother’s nakedness?For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die.And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said unto him, Wherefore should he be put to death? what hath he done?And Saul cast his spear at him to smite him; whereby Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to put David to death.

I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
