Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach[ them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

故廢此誡至微之一、又以是訓人者、在天國必謂之至微、惟遵行之、且以訓人者、在天國必謂之大也、

故毀此誡至微之一、又以是教人者、在天國必謂之至微、遵此誡而教人者、在天國必謂之大矣、

故毀此誡至微之一、又以是教人者、在天國必稱為至微、遵行此誡而以之教人者、在天國必稱為大也、

是故人若違犯一至微之誡命、且以此教人者、天國中必小之。惟篤踐誡命、而又能以此教人者、在天國中乃稱為大。

Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Do not ignore even one of the least important commands. And do not teach others to ignore them. If you do, you will be called the least important person in the kingdom of heaven. Instead, practice and teach these commands. Then you will be called important in the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one[ point], he is guilty of all.For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,[ even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

These things command and teach.Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

[ This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word,[ even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.[ This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are[ these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told[ you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,[ even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.[ Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters,[ and] to please[ them] well in all[ things]; not answering again;Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God,[ it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed[ is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if[ there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love[ is] the fulfilling of the law.

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Cursed[ be] he that confirmeth not[ all] the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Therefore I esteem all[ thy] precepts[ concerning] all[ things to be] right;[ and] I hate every false way.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.( For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,[ that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.But ye say, Whosoever shall say to[ his] father or[ his] mother,[ It is] a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;And honour not his father or his mother,[ he shall be free]. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

And not[ rather],( as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort[ you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,[ so] ye would abound more and more.For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.For this is the will of God,[ even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:That no[ man] go beyond and defraud his brother in[ any] matter: because that the Lord[ is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed[ that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

Woe unto you,[ ye] blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor![ Ye] fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.[ Ye] fools and blind: for whether[ is] greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier[ matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.But ye[ shall] not[ be] so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things[ are] honest, whatsoever things[ are] just, whatsoever things[ are] pure, whatsoever things[ are] lovely, whatsoever things[ are] of good report; if[ there be] any virtue, and if[ there be] any praise, think on these things.Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

Ye[ are] witnesses, and God[ also], how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father[ doth] his children,That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
