是故人若違犯一至微之誡命、且以此教人者、天國中必小之。惟篤踐誡命、而又能以此教人者、在天國中乃稱為大。

Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Do not ignore even one of the least important commands. And do not teach others to ignore them. If you do, you will be called the least important person in the kingdom of heaven. Instead, practice and teach these commands. Then you will be called important in the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Be careful to do everything I command you; do not add anything to it or take anything away from it.

For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.For he who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker.

teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

“ Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one greater than John the Baptist has appeared, but the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Command and teach these things.Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh.For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I am warning you about these things— as I warned you before— that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things.Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

What then? Should we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? Absolutely not!

If anyone teaches false doctrine and does not agree with the sound teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the teaching that promotes godliness,he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in disputes and arguments over words. From these come envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions,

But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.In the same way, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.

Your message is to be sound beyond reproach, so that any opponent will be ashamed, because he doesn’t have anything bad to say about us.Slaves are to submit to their masters in everything, and to be well-pleasing, not talking backor stealing, but demonstrating utter faithfulness, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in everything.

Then I would not be ashamed when I think about all your commands.

What should we say then? Should we continue in sin so that grace may multiply?

But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith.But the law is not based on faith; instead, the one who does these things will live by them.Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written, Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.

Those who have insight will shine like the bright expanse of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.The commandments, Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not covet; and any other commandment, are summed up by this commandment: Love your neighbor as yourself.Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.

But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols.

Jesus said to them,“ Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

‘ Anyone who does not put the words of this law into practice is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

I carefully follow all your precepts and hate every false way.

And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Join in imitating me, brothers and sisters, and pay careful attention to those who live according to the example you have in us.For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

He answered them,“ Why do you break God’s commandment because of your tradition?For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.But you say,‘ Whoever tells his father or mother,“ Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift committed to the temple,”he does not have to honor his father.’ In this way, you have nullified the word of God because of your tradition.

“ But woe to you Pharisees! You give a tenth of mint, rue, and every kind of herb, and you bypass justice and love for God. These things you should have done without neglecting the others.

It must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say,“ Let us do what is evil so that good may come”? Their condemnation is deserved!

I wrote the first narrative, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach

Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God— as you are doing— do this even more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality,that each of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor,not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God.This means one must not transgress against and take advantage of a brother or sister in this manner, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness.

“ Therefore, this is the declaration of the LORD, the God of Israel:‘ I did say that your family and your forefather’s family would walk before me forever. But now,’ this is the LORD’s declaration,‘ no longer! For those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disgraced.

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the temple, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’Blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?Also,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the altar, it means nothing; but whoever takes an oath by the gift that is on it is bound by his oath.’Blind people! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?Therefore, the one who takes an oath by the altar takes an oath by it and by everything on it.The one who takes an oath by the temple takes an oath by it and by him who dwells in it.And the one who takes an oath by heaven takes an oath by God’s throne and by him who sits on it.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You pay a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, and yet you have neglected the more important matters of the law— justice, mercy, and faithfulness. These things should have been done without neglecting the others.

Then a dispute also arose among them about who should be considered the greatest.But he said to them,“ The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who have authority over them have themselves called‘ Benefactors.’It is not to be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever is greatest among you should become like the youngest, and whoever leads, like the one serving.

For he will be great in the sight of the Lord and will never drink wine or beer. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mother’s womb.

Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable— if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy— dwell on these things.Do what you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

He told them,“ Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me. And whoever welcomes me welcomes him who sent me. For whoever is least among you— this one is great.”

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how devoutly, righteously, and blamelessly we conducted ourselves with you believers.As you know, like a father with his own children,we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

“ You, on the other hand, have turned from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have violated the covenant of Levi,” says the LORD of Armies.“ So I in turn have made you despised and humiliated before all the people because you are not keeping my ways but are showing partiality in your instruction.”
