For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one tiny stroke of a pen in the law to fall.

that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.

Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

It pleased Yahweh, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law and make it honorable.

Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Let no one therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.

Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.Then I said,“ Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”

But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.Therefore when he comes into the world, he says,“ You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come( in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”Previously saying,“ Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them”( those which are offered according to the law),then he has said,“ Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices which can never take away sins,but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,

But Jesus, answering, said to him,“ Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed him.

and set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never stops speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.

Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?”

saying,“ This man persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.”

crying out,“ Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place. Moreover, he also brought Greeks into the temple, and has defiled this holy place!”
