For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.

in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

The Lord was pleased, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify his law and make it glorious.

This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void.For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.

“ So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath.These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.

In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.Then I said,“ Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me:I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”

But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said,“ Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”When he said above,“ You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings”( these are offered according to the law),then he added,“ Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second.And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,

But Jesus answered him,“ Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.

and they set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law,

Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?”

saying,“ This man is persuading people to worship God contrary to the law.”

crying out,“ Men of Israel, help! This is the man who is teaching everyone everywhere against the people and the law and this place. Moreover, he even brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.”
