Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,

If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed.The night is far gone, and the day is near.
