that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light( for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,“ I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light.

Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.Its gates shall not be shut at all by day( there shall be no night there).And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

And they said,“ Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.And the Lord said,“ Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.“ To the angel of the church of Ephesus write,‘ These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
