For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light( for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),proving what is well- pleasing unto the Lord;and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of.But all things when they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for everything that is made manifest is light.Wherefore he saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine upon thee.

Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.

for ye are all sons of light, and sons of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness;

But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

While ye have the light, believe on the light, that ye may become sons of light. These things spake Jesus, and he departed and hid himself from them.

and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them that are in darkness,a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth;

Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?

The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day( for there shall be no night there):and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it:and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

And they said, Come, let us build us a city, and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name; lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.And Jehovah came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.And Jehovah said, Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do: and now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do.Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.So Jehovah scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off building the city.

the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks are seven churches.To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
