魔鬼又带祂上到高处，顷刻间把天下万国展示给祂看，又说：“我要把这一切权势和荣耀都给你，因为这一切全交给我了，我想给谁就给谁。所以如果你向我下拜，这一切就是你的了。”

因为“芸芸众生尽如草，荣华不过草上花；草必枯干花必残，

整整一百八十天，他展示自己帝国的财富和王权的威荣。
