so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Now when He had departed from there, He went into their synagogue.

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:“ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.And the whole city was gathered together at the door.Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Jesus answered him,“ I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

but He said to them,“ I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.

They said in their hearts,“ Let us destroy them altogether.” They have burned up all the meeting places of God in the land.

Then Ananias answered,“ Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said,“ Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.Then all who heard were amazed, and said,“ Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him.But their plot became known to Saul. And they watched the gates day and night, to kill him.Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket.And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple.But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.So he was with them at Jerusalem, coming in and going out.And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus and disputed against the Hellenists, but they attempted to kill him.When the brethren found out, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsus.Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.And Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.Then Peter arose and went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.So it was that he stayed many days in Joppa with Simon, a tanner.

Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

And as you go, preach, saying,‘ The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

“ And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying,“ You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.

And heal the sick there, and say to them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

and saying,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”
