Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says:“ Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.

When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.

and said to Him,“ If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:‘ He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and,‘ In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it.His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.But the angel answered and said to the women,“ Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
