Immediately the Spirit drove him into the wilderness.He was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and the angels were serving him.After John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God:“ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin.Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

I will not talk with you much longer, because the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me.
