and saying,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

and saying,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

“ Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

and saying,“ Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near!”

Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Your kingdom come. Your will be doneOn earth as it is in heaven.

And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

and saying,“ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

And as you go, preach, saying,‘ The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:“ Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying,“ Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Nicodemus said to Him,“ How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”Jesus answered,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

And heal the sick there, and say to them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,‘ The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying,“ Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,and said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.

“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

He answered and said,‘ I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said,‘ I go, sir,’ but he did not go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Another parable He spoke to them:“ The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”

I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

So they went out and preached that people should repent.

in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

Then Peter said to them,“ Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Then He said to them,“ Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

Another parable He put forth to them, saying:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,

He answered and said to them,“ Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.”

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,

Say to them:‘ As I live,’ says the Lord GOD,‘ I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’

testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

“ Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

“ The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,

Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place— unless you repent.

“ Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord GOD.“ Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God.“ Therefore turn and live!”

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

“ For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

And he said,‘ No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’

Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

“ For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them captive, saying,‘ We have sinned and done wrong, we have committed wickedness’;

Another parable He put forth to them, saying:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent:

“ Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
