Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven:“ You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.”

And I did not recognize Him, but so that He would be revealed to Israel, I came baptizing in water.”And John testified, saying,“ I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me,‘ He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’And I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”

“ Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.

and he said,“ Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners;

For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He does not give the Spirit sparingly.

He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,

Now it came about in the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord,“ from now and forever.”
